My name is Janice Frampton & I Believe In A Better Pickering.

My husband Phil and I have called Pickering home for over 40 years, raising our four daughters and welcoming eight grandchildren here. As a journalist, community advocate, and long-time resident, I am running for Mayor to protect our local neighbourhoods, demand responsible development with proper infrastructure, restore open and transparent governance, and ensure Pickering remains an affordable, vibrant place for families and future generations.

I believe Pickering deserves leadership that listens, acts, and puts residents first. My priorities are focused on responsible growth, stronger infrastructure, affordability, safer and more connected communities, and greater transparency at City Hall. As Pickering continues to grow, we must make sure our roads, transportation, services, parks, and infrastructure keep pace. I will stand up for established neighbourhoods, protect the character of our community, and ensure residents have a meaningful voice in the decisions that shape their future. Together, we can build a Pickering that is prosperous, connected, and a great place to live for generations to come.
